March sees 487% jump of Covid cases In Chandigarh

The month of March has seen around 5,000 Covid cases against 845 in February, registering an increase of 487 percent. At 4,963, the number of cases recorded this month is the highest in five months since October and the second-highest ever since the pandemic began. The number of tests conducted this month is the highest to date.

Recently, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had rushed a high-level multidisciplinary team to Chandigarh in view of the surge in the number of Covid-19 cases
