Now The City Beautiful is losing its charm. Known for its literacy and development, Chandigarh now is surrounded by beggars at every corner, who chase people while risking their lives to implore for favors.
We can see the signs of regular losing its beauty, even Chandigarh’s administration and higher authorities are not giving attention to maintaining its regular charms. It was perfect 10 years before, the city was growing toward a smart city.

Roads conditions have become very poor, authorities are least bothered about the Chandigarh parking system. Its population increasing day by day and the city has limited sources.
Overloaded hospitals and dispensaries due to poor management and proper arrangement. PGI is the hub of North Indians, but authorities have lacked to maintain a smart system of health facilities, even PGI has everything, sources, space, types of equipment, and intelligent and sufficient doctors.

Government education institutes’ conditions are not good at the present time comparative to private institutions. Even we know, Chandigarh has so many educational institutes and great space for educational activities. But again the authorities have no attention to maintain these with modern equipment and can’t give world-class infra and educational standards to its students. This is the reason that every mediocre family sends their children to private schools.

What makes a city beautiful? Its administration, good roads, and gardens, it’s class health & education centers, the more important are “easily approachable with everything”, that time we can say developed and Smart City. Chandigarh needs all these to take care of and maintain properly, it has the capacity to become a world-class city.
