Chandigarh The City Beautiful
Chandigarh city is beautiful for many reasons, but this is my birthplace and I love it more always. There are many reasons why people love this awesome chandigarh.
Roads are good for driving
The roads in Chandigarh City are wide and traffic rules are strictly followed, making it conducive for driving. Every time I’ve driven on Chandigarh roads, it has been a hassle-free and fun ride.
A city full of greenery
Chandigarh City is not only home to a number of parks and gardens but even the streets are dotted with tall, beautiful trees.
Neat & Clean city
According to Swachh Survekshan 2018, Chandigarh is the third cleanest city in India. It has also been ranked as the cleanest Indian city previously. When it comes to cleanliness, the entire city reminds me of my favorite area of Delhi – Chanakyapuri.
Architecture and design
Chandigarh’s striking architecture is one of its distinguishing features. The city was planned by the famous French architect, Le Corbusier and has a neat, urban design. The whole city is divided into sectors which makes it very easy to navigate.
Picnic Spots
There are many picnic spots that always attract local people and tourists. I use to be at Sukna lake on weekends, there is a huge crowd on Saturdays and Sundays. Cultural activities are going on, music, dance, and fun games. Boating is the other main attrition of the Sukhna lake, families love to spend time in between lake in the boat. The rock garden is just near sukhna lake. People also go there and kept the beautiful moments of the garden.
